Overview of Trading Fees

a). Trading fee (Maker):

  • Charged on orders that add liquidity to the market, such as limit orders that are not immediately matched.

  • Base rate: 1%.

b). Trading fee (Taker):

  • Charged on orders that remove liquidity from the market, such as market orders or limit orders that are immediately matched.

  • Base rate: 2%.

Fee Calculation Examples

Trader B – Taker Fee:

❖ Trading Fee = Order Value × Fee Rate ❖ Order Value = (Number of Shares × Average Price)

👉 Trading Fee = 6,000 × 1% = 60 USDT

a). In AMM markets, ForeGate charges a 2% Trading fee on both buy and sell orders to ensure smooth platform operation. The amount you receive after completing a buy or sell order has already been deducted from the transaction fee.

  • Standard Trading fee:

  • Base rate: 2%.

b). No trading fees are applied to wager placement within the Pari-Mutuel Market system. It is a pool-based system where all wagers are collected into a liquidity pool, and payouts are distributed to winners according to a predefined algorithm. A Claim Fee of 10% is applied only when claiming winnings.
